Bayer’s Bistro
In Graphic Design IV: System Design, I designed a branding project that best illustrates what I strive to communicate in my artwork. In this example, I created designs for a restaurant called Bayer's Bistro located in New Orleans, Louisiana. To create the designs, I used inspiration from an artist and art period I am influenced by: Herbert Bayer and the Bauhaus movement. I used his name, image, and likeness paired with my design aesthetic to create the New Orleans-style restaurant.
Branding:
Choosing bold Bauhaus-inspired fonts, brought the idea of Bayer’s Bistro truly to life. Paired with bold yet soft primary colors, brings an exciting and welcoming aesthetic to the restaurant’s branding.
